...on being 13

1st i just gotta say SUPER BIG THANKS to my fantastical blogger friends for making my 13th birthday sooo happy!

i got lots of snail mail cards, e-cards, emails, presents and bunches of happy birthday lenny blog posts. and...you ready for this???!!! some of my blogger friends got me a kindle paperwhite and a gift card to get books for it. WOW!!! how cool is that!!! for sure i got the nicest and coolest blogger friends in the whole world!

ok... lets talk bout being 13. YIKES! im a teen!! im supposed to be all excited. but i gotta tell you mostly im feeling scared. ugh!

everyones making a big deal outta it and and telling me bout all the cnanges and new stuff thats gonna happen to me.

its like theres a magic light switch that turned on when i got to 13 and ZAPPO suddenly im supposed to like girls (ack!) and start getting hairs on my face, get a cracking voice and get some strange stuff called hormones racing round inside me and making me act all weird and crazy. YIKES! for sure that doesnt sound so fun and excitng to me.

i gotta tell you... i dont wanna stop sleeping and cuddling with mr coon. my mom gave him to me and i love him. i dont wanna stop getting tucked in my bed when im feeling sick or scared. i dont wanna stop eating mcdonalds happy meals. i dont wanna stop playing with my hot wheels or my yoyo. i dont wanna stop getting hugs. for sure i dont wanna hold a girls hand. ack! ack! ack!

and...i dont wanna stop using my voice on my blog or in my writing. mostly i just wanna keep being ME ...who i am right now.
