mind readers?? yikes! for sure thats pretty scary. my blogger friend miss susan quinn has a new novel that just got out and its called OPEN MINDS and its book one of the mindjack trilogy. just that title could make you wanna know what its about.
heres what you could get inside
Sixteen-year-old Kira Moore is a zero, someone who can’t read thoughts or be read by others. Zeros are outcasts who can’t be trusted, leaving her no chance with Raf, a regular mind reader and the best friend she secretly loves. When she accidentally controls Raf’s mind and nearly kills him, Kira tries to hide her frightening new ability from her family and an increasingly suspicious Raf. But lies tangle around her, and she’s dragged deep into a hidden world of mindjackers, where having to mind control everyone she loves is just the beginning of the deadly choices before her.
xsounds scary and exciting all at the same time. WOW! how cool is that!

ReplyDeleteAw, Lenny, you're the best! Thanks so much for the post about my new book! I'm for sure sending you a copy. I promise it's not tooo scary (but a little, especially if you think about it too much). Your brothers can decide if it might scare you, but I tell everybody it's a book for teens and you're just about there! (Yay for your bday not too long ago!) Thanks again for the great post!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this. Susan is great. It's going to be in my to be read list in December. Glad you featured her Lenny. So great of you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Lenny! You're right--Miss Susan is awesome and so is her book. I read it last weekend and LOVED it. It's very good. Now, I can't wait to read book 2. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, her book sounds awesome! Definitely one I want to read. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been following Susan's blog tour. Her book sounds fantastic. I love the mind reading/control aspect and if Shannon says it's good, it must be.
ReplyDeleteThanks for shouting out for her. Hope things are going well for you Lenny.
I just started reading Susan's book and it is super! She is such a good writer. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Sharon!
ReplyDeleteMy students often think I can read minds because I know them so well! But REALLY being able to do it would be pretty awful! Yay for Susan and her great book!! :)
ReplyDeleteMindjackers - wow, that book sounds exciting!
ReplyDeleteHi, Lenny! I just ordered Sue's book on my Kindle this morning (right after I finished Variant by Robison Wells, which was really scary!). I'm looking forward to reading Open Minds.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jemi above. I like to let my students think I can read their minds. But really, I've just been teaching for so long, I know all the tricks!
I've been hearing lots about this book, I definitely want to read it!
ReplyDeleteHey Lenny! I am reading Sue's book right now and it is totally awesome. She is totally awesome. I wanna be like her when I grow up. I heart you, Lenny. *waving*
ReplyDeleteHi Lenny! Thanks for the post on Sue's book. Hope you are well. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo cool. I love Susan! Thanks, Lenny.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great story--I'll have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteYou do a great review, Lenny. May the holidays treat you extra special! If anyone reads my mind, I hope they don't mind light reading! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHi Lenny! Sounds like an interesting book. Thanks for sharing about the it. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHi Lenny .. I've popped over to Susan's blog .. her premise of Open Minds .. sounds a little bit worrying for me!! I like cosy, secure and safe ... but it does sound a really good storyline for many people ..
ReplyDeleteBet you loved it ... and are using the zombie fantasy with your friends and family ..
Have a great rest of the week - nearly Thanksgiving and lots of good food times .. cheers Hilary
How nice of you to give Susan some press. I just won this on Sharon's blog - I can't wait to read it!
